Daiwa Crossfire LT Spinning Reel

Daiwa Crossfire LT — built to Daiwa's LT (Light & Tough) concept, which cuts as much as 20% of the weight out of the old Crossfire design. You notice it at the end of a long day.

The heart of the reel is a set of cold-forged, precision-milled Digigears, machined so the main and pinion gears mesh cleanly under load. The solid ABS aluminum spool resists flexing and holds plenty of line, and Daiwa's Advanced Tournament Drag (ATD) runs on a proprietary grease that makes it one of the smoothest drags at this price.

A machined aluminum handle finishes it off with positive torque to the main gear.

Sizes 1000 through 3000 — comfortable in freshwater or light salt. A good first reel, a good spare, and a good one to hand a kid.
