Cheeky PreLoad

Cheeky PreLoad 2.0 — a complete fly outfit in a box: reel, backing, line and leader, rigged and ready to fish.

The PreLoad ships pre-loaded with 20 lb Cheeky backing, a weight-forward floating fly line and a 9-foot loop-to-loop tapered leader. Tie on a fly and go. For anyone building a first outfit, or adding a second line weight without the cost and fuss of buying line separately, it takes the whole rigging problem off the table.

The reel itself is no afterthought: a CNC-machined frame with a blade design that cuts weight while stiffening the structure, an S-Power drag running stacked alternating discs for smooth pressure, a quick-change spool and a silent retrieve. Ships left-hand retrieve, convertible to right. Reel case included.

Three sizes — 300 (2–4 wt, trout and panfish), 350 (5–6 wt, trout, bass and small salmon) and 375 (7–8 wt, for throwing bigger bugs) — each in Moonstone (bronze) or Lunar (silver).
